Drawing work was my first subject, and I made my first easel at the Centre. On my first easel, I made a charcoal drawing and it was sold to a lady in London.
I decided to go on with the drawing work. On a certain day here came a man from Cape Town, Cecil Skotnes and his wife, and he taught me to do lino cutting. It was the first time I see it, and I start learning.
I go on with the printing work, I decide to teach others to do the same work he taught me.
