My step-dad told me about the lantern festival at the Arts Centre so me and my cousins decided to come and try to make lanterns. During that time I was trying to get a loan from the crèche to start my own business, and I knew that I needed drawing skills and more experience.
I started looking our for a job and I got a job at the arts Centre. So I was so happy I was crying, because that was the first time I got a job in Bethesda. I could stay with my child, and I don’t have to go away from my family again.
I enjoy learning so much at the Arts Centre, of being an artist, and learning how to teach other people, because I never had that before. I feel very honoured being an art teacher one day. The Arts Centre has brought light into my life. I could just say thank you to my boss.
