Our Roots 1
This quilt is about our San roots. The black represents the darkness of space, before the creation of the sun and stars. Our roots go back into the far distant past, before the wise woman made the children throw the sun up into the sky. Our roots are the green life force, that carries our people from a time before time, into the present.
